Happy Thanksgiving!

Our family to yours. We hope you all have a wonderful holiday weekend and Happy Thanksgiving. David is taking our picture. We had a fairly small group for dinner, but it more than doubled by desert.

Devon is 8 months now, he loves to feed himself, and notices if you have something that he doesn't have.

Devon loves sweet potatoes, and jello and turkey and stuffing and potatoes, he really enjoyed his dinner.
April is going along with her picture happy mom.
Here is Kirk carving our Turkey, it was so moist and delicious, we've practically eaten it to the bone, time for Turkey soup.
Kirk always makes orange rolls for Thanksgiving and Christmas. They are soooo good.
Aubrey makes this yummy sweet potato casserole with brown sugar and nuts for the topping. In the background is moms green jello.

Aubrey's plate full of Thanksgiving goodness.

Ashley's beauty salon is open....Kylee is getting her hair done.

Ashlynn after her makeover.

Sierra posing and Alanna shooting the picture, I wondered where my camera went.
Sierra, Tristen, Kylee and Kaleb playing an intense game of Guess Who?

We had two pumpkin pies, an apple pie, a cherry breeze pie and a chocolate cake. Kris and Jamie brought a pecan pie and a cherry pie....yum.
The kids are lined up in front of the pies, and can barely stand the wait. We had a fun day visiting with everyone and hope you all had a great Thanksgiving also.

Ashley and Graham move out!

Yes, this weekend our house grew a little more, Ashely and Graham found a really nice two bedroom, two bathroom apartment. It has a washer and dryer, dishwasher, microwave built in, and all only about a year old. The complex has an exercise room, and a heated pool. Alanna is so excited to have her own bathroom and she can't wait to move in to her new room.

Since I've been tagaged by Erica, I've been trying to think of things about me that are quirky and random, so here it goes:

1) I enjoy crossing the days off on the calender, it is very fufilling to see all the appointments or activities successfully completed. Along the same line, I'm a list maker, I love to make the list, then once again, cross off the completed chore or errand. Even if I already completed a certain task, I'll put it on my list, just so I can cross it off!

2) I'm a connisseur of fine french fries, actually, I'm addicted to them, they're like my crack(that's what I tell David). I know they're bad for me, but I love the hot, steamy, salty, goodness of those golden brown potato sticks. McDonalds beats all the rest, hands down.

3) I'm a bathroom reader, I always have a book I'm reading, just no one ever sees me reading them. I love my hour of total, uninterupted time to myself. I have this enormous basket filled with church magazines, word searches, and a variety of magazines along with my latest novel. It's awesome!

4) I can't cook if the counters are cluttered, if the sink has dishes in it, if the rug is askew or if there are any spots on the floor. It doesn't matter that by the end of me cooking, it will look that way, I can't explain it. If I'm going to wash dishes by hand, the left side is the hot soapy side, the right side is for rinsing, and then on to the right counter to dry, isn't that how everyone does it? You would think so, but such is not the case. Ask Aubrey how she does it.

5) I have to sleep by the door, even when we travel. I'm also a left sided sleeper, so sometimes that presents a problem if the bed is turned around and I'm forced to sleep on my right side.

6) I love to read cookbooks. I hate to cook, I like to imagine myself cooking all those yummy things, and "see my family enjoying thoses wonderful recipes", I'll make a menu and even buy the ingredients, but usually don't get around to cooking everything I planned. I have the most bizarre collection of condiments and spices for things I've never made. Maybe when my life settles down and I have more free time, I'll create some fabulous meals.

Since everyone except Jazmine and Jessica has been tagged, that's who I'm tagging. Write something funny or crazy about yourself.

I hope everyone has a fun Thanksgiving. We are cooking the big feast and Ashley and Graham will come for pie, but are going to his family for dinner, and Kris and Jamie are going to see her grandma who has cancer and is sick and her mother for dinner and then come her for pie and the whole gang will spend the night. Jamie and I and whoever else wants to, will go out on Friday morning EARLY!!! April, Damon and Ray and of course Devon will come for dinner and Davind and Aubrey and Alanna will be here. So we'll have 8 for dinner and 18 for pie! Love to you all.

The Many Faces of Regen

This is Regen looking very somber. It's time for her three month picture with the bear. She is growing so fast. She is almost 12 pounds. She is long and thin.

This is Regen discovering her own reflection. She is starting to play on the floor a little bit more.

This is Regen concentrating on all the beautiful colors and crinkly sounds of the wrappers.
This is Regen sad. She likes to be held, alot. If she's not, this is what you get.
This is Regen very happy. We are having more of these happy faces the older she gets.
